About Harewood Estate

Small vineyard specialising in the production of Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, Harewood has produced some distinctive styles of both varieties in recent years. The vineyard is located just west of Denmark in the Great Southern region and was established in 1988. All wines are made on site.

Harewood Pinot Noir 2002
Medium brick red in colour with dusty savoury aromas. A very clean, well made full flavoured style with black cherry flavours and fine tannins. Persistent on the finish with clean acidity.

The aromas of Asian spices, white pepper are followed by intense flavours of blackberry, raspberry and cinnamon notes with a lovely fresh fruit character. Wignalls Pinot Noir 2009
Produced by one of the pioneers of this variety in West Australia this wine displays lovely intensity of dark cherries, black plums and strawberries with complex earthy aromas and hints of cinnamon. The palate shows consistent earthy, gamey characters with wild truffles and mushroom tones. Underlying caramel and chocolate characters are also evident.
