About Peel Estate Winery

Renowned for its distinctive styles of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc, Peel Estate, established in 1974, is located approximately 50kms south of Perth. The wines from this estate show a clear distinction in style and have established a wide following internationally and within Australia. Apart from the signature wines, small plantings of Verdelho, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Zinfandel together with Chardonnay make up the balance of production.

A densely coloured wine showing rich, ripe plummy aromas with tobacco and spice. Showing excellent integration of sweet plummy fruit and fine cedary oak. The palate shows excellent length with a fine finish of vibrant ripe youthful fruit, excellent concentration and persistence.

Bright crimson in colour with dusty savoury aromas of ripe vibrant Cabernet fruit with hints of chocolate aromas. Excellent integration of rich fruit flavours of chocolate and blackberry with silky tannins and excellent persistence of fresh succulent fruit. Well balanced with lovely complexity of fully ripened fruit and oak.
