About Tinglewood Wines

A small boutique producer located north-west of the south coastal town of Denmark. Original plantings commenced in 1976 with emphasis on Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The two red varieties are blended to provided a flavoursome regional style.

Red Tingle Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2001

Deep plum in colour with rich plummy aromas. Soft fruit flavours dominate with clean well-balanced fruit and lingering flavour. Some fine cedary oak with softness of intense ripe fruit on the finish.

Wignalls Shiraz 2009
The aromas of Asian spices, white pepper are followed by intense flavours of blackberry, raspberry and cinnamon notes with a lovely fresh fruit character. Wignalls Pinot Noir 2009
Produced by one of the pioneers of this variety in West Australia this wine displays lovely intensity of dark cherries, black plums and strawberries with complex earthy aromas and hints of cinnamon. The palate shows consistent earthy, gamey characters with wild truffles and mushroom tones. Underlying caramel and chocolate characters are also evident.
