About Virgin Block

Located in a hidden valley at the northern part of the Margaret River region, this estate has rapidly earned a reputationfor the fine quality fruit produced plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz comprise the red varieties. Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc provide excellent fruit for the fine blend produced from both varieties.

Virgin Block Shiraz 2005

Very deep purple with red hues. Light white pepper characters with some nice hints of fine oak. Lovely balance of fine ripe spicy black fruit and fine French oak flavours. This wine has excellent structure, very long persistence of flavour and an outstanding finish.
